Eligibility of Para Military Forces
Aspirants who wonder How to join Para Military Forces or CAPF in India have to clear both written exams and Physical Fitness tests.
Given below is a detailed account of the eligibility of the Paramilitary Forces:
- The candidate should be within the age limit of 20 to 25 years.SC/ST candidates have an age relaxation of 5 years while OBC candidates have an age relaxation of 3 years. Ex-Army personnel also have an age relaxation of 5 years.
- Both male and female candidates can apply for the Paramilitary Forces exam.
- The Applicant must be an Indian Citizen. Besides this, candidates from Bhutan or Nepal can also apply for the CAPF exams.
- Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University are eligible to apply for CAPF exams. Candidates who have appeared in the Graduation exams and are waiting for their results are also eligible for CAPF exams.
- Candidates have to fulfil certain Physical and Medical criteria.
